This week: further analysis on Mako’s character, helping proving her true value in KILL la KILL, an exceptional, cunning and innovative moment in BlazBlue: Alter Memory, questioning why all scientists are crazy in anime based from Kakumeiki Valvrave (S2), and complaints of Shounen Fight Syndrome in Yozakura Quartet: Hana no Uta.
This week: giving Tamayura ~more aggressive~ a chance and it being a success, the benefits of changing perspectives in Monogatari Series Second Season, issues with execution in writing and content in Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou, and building up for a great and grand finale for Danganronpa.
This week: some deserved recognition for the underapperciated Kamisama Kiss and why I continue to love it, the committee approach to detectives in Psycho-Pass, the captivating sceneries and environments of Sword Art Online, and the awkward ecchi fanservice in K.
Well, it’s been over a month since I posted anything about Last Exile and this episode is probably long forgotten by now. Oh well. Hopefully the topic is still interesting albeit it now being out of date by the most current episode but I planned to cover this series episodically (minus the recaps, though I must interject and say episode 17 was absolutely amazing seeing the entire original Last Exile in one wondrous episode) and dammit, I’ll do just that.
This post will cover the facelessness of war, the fact that neither we nor the characters truly experience all the human lives that are involved in these wars.
Though this chapter did present an enormous amount of thrilling developments, including some inconceivable shocks and heartbreaking twists, its purpose was to serve as a segue to the next story arc which will explore one of the most enigmatic and essential elements of Needless: Cruz’s past. Mysterious and undisclosed up to this point, we will finally discover the history of our protagonist. **Warning: spoilers below**
