So, yeah, the Summer anime season ended quite a while back, but it’s never too late (or is it?) to provide my final thoughts, opinions, assessments, and evaluations on the various anime that aired over our warmer, sunnier months. We’ve had plenty of time to watch and enjoy these shows and now it’s time to assign their final scores before they become little more than fond or funny memories or entries in our detailed anime histories. So, just how well did every show do according to my personal preferences? It’s time to explore and score the 2012 Summer anime season one last time!
With the conclusion of the Spring anime season comes a period of evaluation and judgment based on everything that was watched. In the end, a final mark is given that encompasses our thoughts and feelings on the series and is the assessment we return to when looking back at the series. Though this closure for an anime series may seem shallow compared to the experience we had over the past twelve or so weeks, it does feel like a way to properly finish a series before we fully immerse ourselves in the Summer anime season. And with that, here is the final review for the Spring 2012 anime season.
Despite being months overdue and embarrassingly late, the review for the Winter 2012 anime season is at long last completed. Though these anime have long since concluded and become a fragment of our cherished memories, there should be closure for these shows and that’s what this comprehensive review hopes to accomplish. With the calendar of 2011 crowning our comically overfilled garbage bin following the holiday celebrations, there’s no better time than the present to take a moment (or however long it takes you to get through this mammoth of a post) and reflect on the anime from this previous Autumn, the final anime season of 2011.
With all the Spring finales having finished and the Summer anime season starting briskly right behind, it’s about time to recollect all that anime that aired during the past three months and see how they fared. Yes, it’s time for the Spring 2011 Season Review for the 12+ series I watched. Below will be some quick reviews and evaluations comparing some of the very best and most memorable to a series I just could not finish despite having lofty hopes for.
Despite the most popular show of the winter season still incomplete, I’ll go ahead and write my season review for Winter 2011. It’s not like there’ll be any changes to the scores or how they rank when Puella Magi Madoka Magica finishes, so there’s no real point in waiting an undetermined amount of time to pretty much post the same thing, especially with the other nine shows already complete.
