Steins;Gate – 9

One of the more fascinating aspects of Steins;Gate is the distinctiveness and creativity of the time-machine.  Most conventional time-machines utilize vehicles which transport passengers to numerous points of time where they perform actions to change the future.  Steins;Gate involves no physical logistics but rather messages which travel back in time and elicit a response that abruptly changes the future.  And due to the uniqueness of the time-machine, there are some rather unique problems that can occur.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica – 11

We’re all going to have a lot of memories from Madoka.  Some will be sorrow.  Some will be pleasure.  Others, too, will be fright and confusion and heartbreak.  If you recollect, the series took our emotions on an unexpected journey, able to manipulate our feelings into whatever this anime wanted.  But which of those emotions on this journey will you remember?  What memories will you have from Puella Magi Madoka Magica?

Puella Magi Madoka Magica – 10

And now for something completely different.

Episode 10 of Puella Magi Madoka Magica provides us with Homura’s backstory, depicting her metamorphosis from her frail, timid, and emotional former self to the Homura we’ve grown to love and cheer for.  The previous timelines through which she lived help us understand Homura a little more, as well as show us some interesting storylines involving her relationships with the various characters.  But that wasn’t the best part about the episode.

Kimi ni Todoke Season 2 – 7

I don’t think we’ll get any progress until near the end of the school festival.  That’s just how these types of things work.  We’ll be seeing a lot of conversations between the secondary characters until the end of the festival when Sawako and Kazehaya, finally together and alone, decide to actually talk to each other.

So, until that time, why don’t we spend our time watching something else besides the supporting cast argue amongst each other and meddles in the relationship more?  Why not focus on the cast doing things outside of the relationship?  Why yes, that’s an atrocious awesome idea!
