Summer 2013 – Season Review

The Summer 2013 anime season wasn’t too long ago and featured a number of wonderful anime.  Since I never provided my thoughts, opinions and reviews for the anime at the end of the season, here is a late review that encompasses the entire season and provided my final reviews for Summer 2013.

Summer 2013 – Week 12 Anime Review

This week: giving Tamayura ~more aggressive~ a chance and it being a success, the benefits of changing perspectives in Monogatari Series Second Season, issues with execution in writing and content in Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou, and building up for a great and grand finale for Danganronpa.

Summer 2013 – Week 11 Anime Review

This week: how Stella Jogakuin Koutou-ka C3-bu is really an anime analogy of drugs, thoughts on the origins of the walls in Shingeki no Kyojin, the weakness of friendships in Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou and the adorable tanukis of Uchouten Kazoku.

Summer 2013 – Week 9 Anime Review

This week: appreciating the use of color and lighting in Monogatari Series Second Season, thoughts on the specific location of human settlement in Shingeki no Kyojin, how Sonora’s addition shifts the character dynamics of Stella Jogakuin Koutouka C3-bu, and ideas on how to improve upon the detective/mystery carousel which is Danganronpa.

Summer 2013 – Week 6 Anime Review

This week: appreciating the visual aesthetics of Uchouten Kazoku, the use of emotion in Shingeki no Kyojin, pink blood in Danganronpa, and the team failing to act as a team as a strength for Gatchaman Crowds.
