Summer 2011 – Week 8 – Short Thoughts

No.6 reminds me of something else every time I watch it.  Why was this week the best of Idolmaster and the worst of Ikoku Meiro no Croisé?  And am I changing my opinon on a character from Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu II after one episode?  All these and other short thoughts on fifteen current anime are all below.

Summer 2011 – Week 7 – Short Thoughts

Problems with the tension in Kamisama Dolls?  Is Blood-C finally becoming a good or interesting anime?  And what would No.6 be like without certain elements of its story?  This and other short thoughts on fifteen current anime are all below (although this is several days late, so some of these shows are from last week.  Sorry!).

Summer 2011 – Mid-Season Review

We’re roughly at the half-way point in most of this Summer’s anime, so let’s take a moment to reflect on how the first half of this season has been.  I’ve been following 10 shows that started this season (not counting the 3-4 minute shows either) and have continued with 5 from the Spring meaning this will be a rather enormous review.  But to begin, some thoughts on how the entire season has done including a common complaint across the board.

Summer 2011 – Week 5 – Short Thoughts

Is something missing from this season’s Baka Test?  What’s my new favorite sketch in Nichijou?  And is there a pattern to noitaminA anime?  Plus other relevant or tangential thoughts on this Summer’s anime.  (Beware of some spoilers on episodes you haven’t watched yet!)

Summer 2011 – Week 4 – Short Thoughts

Interested in some quick opinions each week on the 15 anime I’m currently watching this summer?

I kinda regret not starting this style of posts sooner.  Not only was the first post of this style rather fun and enjoyable but it also gave me the chance to bring up some of my thoughts and feelings about some of the other anime I’m watching and not blogging.  If I had started this style before, I would’ve loved to talk about other shows like Wandering Son, AnoHana, Level E, Tiger & Bunny, and many more.  I had so many thoughts and comments about those shows when they were airing but never really posted them here for people to read and ponder over.  But whatever, that time has passed and I’m onto the summer season.  I’ll just enjoy writing these types of posts and I hope you enjoy reading them.

Summer 2011 – Week 3 – Short Thoughts

Interested in some quick opinions each week on the 15 anime I’m currently watching this summer?

I decided earlier this summer to only do episodic posts on three shows instead of the normal four and use the free time to do a post with my thoughts or something short about everything I’m watching.  The third week has already occurred, and it’s about time I get around to posting something about what thoughts, issues, questions, or whatever I have on each show.  And yeah, I’m borrowing the title from that Nichijou skit that I enjoy so much.

Summer 2011 – First Week Impressions (Part 3)

This post has my thoughts and impressions on Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu 2, Nekogami Yaoyorozu, Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi, R–15, and Manyuu Hiken-chou.

These aren’t the final five shows that I was willing to give a one episode try but this will be my final post on my first impressions for the summer season.  The two shows that aren’t going to be in these types of posts are Dantalian no Shoka, a show I plan to follow this season, and Nyanpire the Animation, an adorable little 3 minute animation that really doesn’t have all that much to write about except that it’s cute.  Anyway, onto these five new shows.
