Autumn 2011 – Season Review

With the calendar of 2011 crowning our comically overfilled garbage bin following the holiday celebrations, there’s no better time than the present to take a moment (or however long it takes you to get through this mammoth of a post) and reflect on the anime from this previous Autumn, the final anime season of 2011.

Spring 2011 – First Week Impressions (Part 1)

Hey, shouldn’t this have been posted last week, you know, the first week of the season?  Yeah, I guess this is five days late, so I hope no one is mad or anything.  Unless it’s adorable.

And yeah, that’s from the second week of Hanasaku.  And it’s everywhere.  Oh well.

I’ve finally gotten around to watching a majority of the opening episodes of the anime I planned on giving a try this season.  Selecting 23 shows means I have to be hasty and pass judgment whether a show shall be deemed worthy of my weekly attention or dropped due to whatever circumstances or flaws I can find.  And if I can’t find any, I’ll make one up.

Mid-Season Review – Winter 2011

Figured with the halfway point in most shows being reached or surpassed, that I’d provide a concise review of each show I’m watching this Winter.  Their order listed below is in the order that I’d rank them now along with their numerical score (between 10-5).  I’ll also toss out my favorite character of each series, too, since that’s always fun.  Oh, and the best Art, Characters, Entertainment, Sound, and Story.  There are also some minor spoilers, so if you haven’t watched everything yet, just mind your eyes and skip those sections.
