Autumn 2016 – Season Preview

non_non_biyori-08-autumn-yellow_leaves-ginkgo_leaves-blue_sky-fall-scenery-environmentEvery season has its defining features.  Autumn, for example, is known for its bountiful harvests and leaves falling to the ground.  Likewise, every anime season has its distinguishing characteristics thanks to the anime that air within its interval.  Sometimes, anime seasons are bountiful, like an autumn harvest, and others are barren, like the trees after shedding their leaves.  What type of season will Autumn 2016 bring us?  Let’s take a peak and see what we have in store for the final season of 2016.

Autumn 2014 – Season Preview

non_non_biyori-08-autumn-red_leaves-environment-scenery-landscape-beautiful-clear_skyAutumn 2014 is the fourth and final anime season of year. The Spring and Autumn season are usually the busiest or densest, featuring more total anime than the Winter and Summer seasons, and Autumn 2014 looks to be another enormous one in terms of volume of anime. But the question each season is hardly ever a question of volume but rather a question of quality… and that’s what I hope to answer, at least from my perspective, with my preview of the Autumn 2014 Season Preview. Spring 2014 – Season Preview

chuunibyou_demo_koi_ga_shitai!_ren-03-spring-cherry_blossoms-pink_petals-green_leaves-warm-blue_sky-calmWith Winter 2014 zigzagging along and reaching the finales in the next couple of weeks, now is an ideal time to look ahead to and prepare for the Spring 2014 anime season.  Once April arrives, dozens of new anime will begin and several franchises will return to TVs in the forms of sequels, alternative stories or simple rebroadcasts.  Based on numbers alone, Spring 2014 appears to be one of the largest anime seasons in terms of total volume.  In addition to the abundance of this season, there is quite a diversity of anime, too, making this season more of an unknown or a mystery than others.  So what exactly does this new anime season have to offer?  Below is an extensive list of the anime for Spring 2014 along with my thoughts and opinions for each one.
