Kimi ni Todoke Season 2 – 10

Was Kimi ni Todoke supposed to be this fun?  After all the misunderstandings and drama and intrusion from the series’ lengthy but reasonable list of punchable characters (Joe, Kurumi, Kent, etc.), Kimi ni Todoke returned to its roots and provided some romantic progress between Sawako and Kazehaya, as well as an abundance of side-splitting laughs.  Gee, why couldn’t the whole season have been like this?

Kimi ni Todoke Season 2 – 9

And with that, let the floodgates open!

The ninth episode of Kimi ni Todoke Season 2 was the one we’ve been waiting for.  Finally, we able to see Sawako openly confess her feelings to Kazehaya in the empty classroom.  Not only do the two characters feel relieved at this event, but so does the audience.  We’ve been waiting all season for their relationship to become closer rather than more distant and this is one of the first times we can actually see it become closer.

Kimi ni Todoke Season 2 – 6

Is Sawako’s support network helping or hurting her relationship with Kazehaya?  On one hand, they are there to catch her when she’s down in the dumps and sobbing.  On the other, they’re kinda the source of a lot of these misconceptions that Sawako and Kazehaya have for each other.  So which one is it?

Kimi ni Todoke Season 2 – 5

Yeah, that’s right; this is going to be about Chizuru and Ryu.  I’ll have plenty more time to talk about Sawako, Kazehaya, and Kent or whatever later, but for now, it’s Chizu and Ryu!
